Cow Horse

  • NRCHA rules for judging will be followed.
  • Cow Horse Competitiors will run National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) patterns.
  • By signing the entry form all non pro competitiors confirm that they qualify as an NRCHA Non Pro.
  • Bridle classes are rein and fence.
  • Snaffle Bit and Hackamore classes are herd, rein and fence.

  • All herd work will be supplied with three head of fresh cattle per work.
  • 4 and 5 year olds may show in either the snaffle bit/hackamore or the bridle class, but not in both classes.

  • Open and Non Pro Bridle Competitors: The top five horses in each division will be taken to the finals, similar to the format of Saturday evening in 2016. You must show your horse in the finals to be eligible for payouts. If a horse is removed from the finals prior to 9:00 AM Saturday, the 6th place horse will move up to the finals (maximum of 2 horses will be rolled up).
  • Cow Horse Cross entries will pay the full add back and full office & cattle fee for the first class entered and full add back and $_____(see below) for office & cattle fee for each additional class entered.
